On June 18, 2020, at 25 weeks, Kai was born. He was born a little fighter and fought a tough battle. Kai ended up with a brain bleed at just a few weeks old, which resulted in him developing hydrocephalus. He had four brain surgeries to try and help the hydrocephalus. Kai fought hard and wasn’t giving up easily. He touched more lives in his nearly six months of life than many people do in their whole life. Thousands of people from all around the world prayed for Kai and his parents. Thousands of people saw that God is still working miracles to this day, because Kai was a miracle baby from the second he came into this world and we saw so many miracles happen in him. On December 14th, 2020, Kai went home into the arms of Jesus. 

 

When Kai went home to Jesus, we knew we wanted to build a school in his memory. So we will be honoring his memory by building a school that will be fully furnished for Kitongo Primary School in Uganda, Africa in memory of our son, grandson, and nephew, Kai Everett Flynn. 

 

Approximately 5,000 children are currently being educated and some housed on Imani Milele Campuses, but there is a great need for additional facilities. The need is especially great at Kitongo, which is where we have decided to build at.
