Abdu is the third born in the family of five. He has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. The father abandoned the family and moved on with other women where he ended up having 12 more children.

Abdu and his siblings were left with their mom who is so poor that she cannot even meet some of the basic needs for the family.

On many occasions, the mom often went to the neighbors to beg for food, something embarrassing for her yet she had no alternative but rather do whatever it took to provide for her children.

Given this situation, there was no way the children could have their basic needs met, let alone have an education opportunity which costs so much. A gift of sponsorship would greatly transform Abdu's world so he can reach his full potential, but also realize his dream
