Aisha is an only child. When her mother got pregnant while in school, she dropped out and went back to stay with her mother, Aisha’s grandma. After birth, Aisha’s grandma asked Aisha’s mom to go look for odd jobs because she couldn’t support both her and Aisha. Aisha’s father is unknown to Aisha’s grandma. The mom visits Aisha once in a while but she is not able to offer any financial support to Aisha because she hasn’t gotten a reliable job yet. Aisha’s grandma has no stable job either but she is a casual laborer. Aisha’s grandma loves God and she is an usher in her church who happily cleans the community church that she attends.
