Alex has two brothers and four sisters. Three of his siblings died. He is the first born and lucky to stay with both parents. They grow a few crops mainly for home consumption. They live in a two roomed house with no beddings. They don’t have access to clean water and good medication. Alex has never worn a pair of shoes in his entire life. He wakes up at 6:00 am to walk to school but his parents cannot afford a school uniform. Despite the challenges, Alex has never given up on school. He is a smart and determined boy. He has a dream of becoming a teacher in future. His greatest need is having tuition so that he may attend school.
