Amina is the second born of the four children in her family who are all girls.  She stays with both her parents who love her so much and try effortlessly to provide for most of her basic necessities.  However much they try, they still fail because they are peasants who earn little from the sale of their harvested crops.  To add to that, there is less market since most of the people in the neighborhood are peasants.  The father is also disabled and he always uses a stick to move.  They find most difficulty in paying for the children’s tuition, clothing them and paying for their medication in case of any illness.  Amina also has a problem with her bladder; it hurts sometimes.  The parents buy her medication whenever they are in position to but that is rare.
