Esther, the firstborn child in her family has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Esther grew up with peasant parents in a house built with mud and bamboo. During stormy rainy days, the entire family would move out of the house and find shelter under the tree for fear of the house collapsing and fall on them.  Esther was later sent into the care of her grandmother where life became more treacherous. She led such a life until Imani Milele Children came to her rescue, provided her care and protection and also gave her an opportunity to attend school. Esther now has a smile on her face because of the hope she has. She is a talented dancer and has a heavenly voice. She is an active member of the Imani Milele Choir and she was on tour in 2014. She is also on their 2018 tour. With your support, Esther will be able to stay in school and pursue her dream of being a music teacher.
