Age 15

 My name is Catherine and I am the eighth born of 8 children (6 girls and two boys). Our parents separated and dad married another wife - leaving us with mom. We live in Lugazi - a rural community in Mityana District in Central Uganda. I often missed school because my mother is unemployed. She could not afford to pay for my tuition and provide school supplies for me to attend school. I thank Imani Milele Children through which I am sponsored. I am happy because I attend school regularly. Attending school gives me hope for a better future.
