Born in a family of four children, two boys and two girls, Charles is the fourth born.  He lives with his father and siblings.  Unfortunately, Charles does not stay with his mother, because the parents separated.  His mother remarried and is now living with her new husband.  Charles’ father is a peasant.  He gets very little income from the crops he grows.  He can’t ably support Charles and his siblings in school.  It very difficult for his dad to raise the money needed for school tuition because he is also a drunkard.  So, part of his earnings will be spent on alcohol.  You can be that someone to whom Charles will forever be grateful for changing his life through sponsorship.
