Emmanuel is the fourth born in a family of 3 boys and 3 girls. His family lives in a very rural community in Western Uganda. People in this area including Emmanuel's parents are unemployed or casual laborers. Their main occupation is to grow a few crops for food on the small pieces of land that they either own or rent. Emmanuel walks to school and he works hard to transform his life. Choosing to love and support him in school will bring a great change in his life, his family, and his community.
