Eria comes from a family of two children; one boy and one girl him being the first born. He stays with both his parents but getting most of the basic needs is quite impossible for him. The mother sells a few things across the roadside and the father is a peasant who depends on farming done on a rented small piece of land as a source of income. He shares the harvest with the owner of the land where he grows the crops. Generally, the income earned by both parents is very little insufficient to cater for all the basic necessities of the family.
