Eric is the second born of two boys in his family. They would have been three children, but the youngest died. Eric lost his father and mother to AIDS in 2010 and 2013 respectively.  He and his brother, Denis, were taken in by their uncle. They stay in Northern Uganda in an area that has seen tribal wars and skirmishes for many years. They have minimal access to most of life’s needs.  Eric and Denis walk about 5 miles to school.  Because of their love of an education, they are willing to wake up early and start walking by 6:00AM in order to reach school on time.  Eric loves reading storybooks in his free time. He also loves school, but the lack of tuition keeps getting in his way.  With your support, Eric will reach his dream of becoming a doctor.
