Gloria is born into a family of 3 children. In 2003, Gloria’s dad got so sick that he died in a week’s time. Gloria’s mom worked so hard thereafter to provide for her children but due to too much work, she experienced chest pain and died in 2005. Gloria and her siblings were taken on by their maternal grandma who gave them care and protection. Life became harder for the children as their grandma could not provide for most of their needs. Imani Milele Children rescued Gloria in 2006 and placed her in school. Gloria is now happy in a new family and is doing very good academically. She no longer feels vulnerable and rejected and works hard to become a cardiologist. Gloria now needs more support with her education since she is joining college next year.
