My mother left me at grandmother’s place when I was only 3 months old. Until now she has never returned to visit or check on my welfare therefore, I do not know what she looks like. My father does odd jobs in the city and is often seen visiting my village but he too does not check on me or provide any support for my wellbeing.   I am under the custody of my elderly grandmother, whom I now call mother.  She is finding it difficult to raise enough money to pay for my education.
