From a family of eight children; five girls and three boys, comes the lovely Immaculate. She stays with both her parents who love her so much and try to provide for most of her necessities.  But no matter how much they try, they still fail because they are peasants who grow a few crops on a rented piece of land.  To add to that, there is less market since most of the people in the neighborhood are peasants.  The parents find the most difficulty in paying for the children’s tuition, clothing them and paying for their medication in case of any illness.  It breaks their hearts to always see their children being sent back home due to lack of tuition because they believe that education is the only way for them to have a bright future.
