Jackline is born in a family of four children comprising of two girls and two boys her being the first born. Both his parents are peasants who depend on farming entirely. They are greatly affected by the climatic changes and this not only affects the harvest but it also affects the income they get. Jackline is often sent home for tuition and even as she goes home, there is no hope as her parents can’t raise tuition in time. Most of the parents’ income also goes on medication so this leaves no balance for tuition. Jackline needs help with her tuition if she is to have a bright future.
