Jeremiah was born in a very poor family with only 1 sister. They both stay with their grandmother who looks after them. The Grandmother takes full support of the two children despite her being unemployed and weak that she can’t do heavy work. Jeremiah’s parents separated before his birth and when he was still very young, his mother abandoned him and the grand mother took him in till now. His father is not only HIV positive but also cares less about Jeremiah’s welfare and education. Jeremiah is a well-behaved boy who loves school but often stays home because the grandmother can hardly afford paying his tuition and providing him with school supplies.
