Joselyn takes the third position in a family of four boys and two girls.  She stays with both her parents who are unemployed but grow a few crops mainly corn, beans and sweet potatoes on a small piece of property basically to feed the family. Due to the drought that sometimes strikes their area, the crops dry up and this puts the family at the risk of starving yet the parents can hardly afford buying food. Joselyn loves school and has a dream of becoming a doctor. She hopes to extend health services to her community. Currently, one of her parents’ greatest challenges is paying tuition and also providing Joselyn with school supplies.
