Keren is the second born of 2 girls in her family. She and her sister live with their single and poor mother. The parents separated many years ago and the father married another wife with whom he has other children. Karen’s mother who rents a single roomed house finds a lot of difficulty providing for Keren’s needs including keeping her in school. That’s why Imani Milele through its child sponsorship program chose to support Keren in school and provide some of her needs. Keren, whose dream is to become a lawyer or an author has always scored good grades in school. She is a skilled singer and dancer who toured the US in 2014 with the Imani Milele Choir. Through her skill in music, she was an active representative to the plight of Uganda’s orphaned and vulnerable children. Keren needs your support to continue with her education.
