Kerisha is the third born in a family of three girls. Kerisha’s mother separated from her father because he was a drunkard and wasn’t providing any financial support to the family. Her father remarried and he has other children. Since then, Kerisha’s mother has always struggled to provide basic needs for the family. She rents a single room which they all share. At some point, they were almost evicted. Amidst all challenges, Kerisha is encouraged, focused and ready to become a doctor.
