Mai’s family lives in a rural community located in central Uganda. The people in this area have no access to most of life’s needs like electricity, clean water, health care centers, and good roads. Mai’s parents work so hard to grow crops on their small farm to have food to feed their family. Mai’s father can hardly provide the family’s basic needs mentioned above and paying for Mai’s tuition and school supplies is almost impossible.  Even so, Mai‘s dream is to study, complete school and become a doctor. She often misses school due to lack of school requirements and this affects her grades in class. Your sponsorship contribution will provide for Mai’s tuition and provide a meal at school for her.
