Margret is the fifth born in the family of seven children; three girls and four boys. They live with both parents who are peasants. They have a small piece of land where they grow crops like corn, beans, banana and cassava for home consumption. Margret’s parents are both unemployed and they struggle to meet the needs of their children. While at home, Margret helps her parents to collect water from the well and sweep around the house. She then joins her peers to rope skipping which is her favorite. Margret likes school and her academic performance is average. If given the chance to stay in school, Margaret will have the hope of a better future.
