Maria was rescued by Imani Milele, she used to live with her parents in an extremely poor condition.  It was a very big struggle to live and often times the family went hungry without meals. Her parents are low income earners, who struggle very much to provide for their family but all in vain.  Maria is a hardworking girl, well-disciplined and friendly.  Ever since Maria joined Imani, she has greatly been transformed and she is very much determined to become a medical doctor after school.  She is in the Imani Choir where she does singing and dancing.
