Martha is 5th born with 6 sisters and 1 brother. Her family lives in a rural area in Western Uganda. Martha’s great passion for attending school keeps her walking close to 3 miles to and from school. Martha’s parents are so poor that they can hardly provide her with clothes, healthcare, bedding among others. At the age of 11, Martha got her first pair of shoes in her whole life. This was a gift that she and some of her fellow students received from a Mission group team when they visited her school. She’s a brilliant young girl and her smile always speaks hope.
