The family is living in a very poor condition because the parents are unable to provide even the basic needs to their children. The father has got two wives making it too hard for him to meet all the needs of the children. Miriam walks a distance of close to 2 kilometers from home to school. Even though she walks that long distance daily, she still yearns to have education and become a teacher to help other children in her community.
