Morris is the fifth born of the eight children in his family comprising of four girls and four boys. He has no memories of his father because he died when Morris was still at a tender age; it is quite difficult for him to remember him. This affects him so much. He and his siblings remained with their mother who abandoned them, ran away and got married to another man. Currently, Moris stays with his grandmother who took him in after his mother's disappearance. The grandmother is too old to do heavy work hence she finds difficulty in providing for her grand child most especially paying for his tuition. Morris is a very smart boy in class who works hard to become a teacher.
