I am the 6th born child in my family. My father had a problem with alcohol and he was at times violent. My mother chose to leave him in 2022. She could hardly provide for us all so she sent 2 of my siblings to live with my aunt. The rest of us stay with our mother in a one-room house. My mother practices small-scale farming. She often lacks access to markets where she can sell her produce and earn an income, making it hard for her to provide for the family’s needs.
