Obed lives with both his parents who are small scale farmers. They grow crops on their small piece of property and sell the surplus to support themselves. Obed is a twin and the two take the first position in the family followed by seven other children (4 boys and 5 girls). The parents are so loving and proud of their children but unable to provide their needs especially paying tuition so they can stay in school. Obed needs an opportunity to settle in school to work towards his dream. This is the only way for him to live a life different from what his parents are living.
