On Father’s Day of 2017 while she was touring with the Imani Milele Choir during their 2017 US West Coast tour, Patience received the sad news that her father had died of diabetes. Patience is the last born of seven children. Patience’s mother is but a housewife. Because of Patience’s talent in music and dancing, Patience was enrolled in the Imani Milele Choir while she was in fourth grade. She has always lived at one of the Imani Milele homes where she’s been given education, feeding, clothing, health care among others. Patience gets to see her family during school breaks. She performs well in class and her dream is to specialize in fashion and design.
