After my parents’ separation, they both abandoned me to my grandmother. She was too old and weak to take care of me so my paternal aunt chose to take me in. She is married with one child. It is a small family but she still struggles to provide for my needs. She depends on crop growing as her only source of income. She grows crops like sweet potatoes, corn, beans, and vegetables. There is usually little or no harvest left for sale hence making her income small and irregular.
