When my mother died, I was taken in by my maternal grandparents. Grandpa died and grandma denied me of school so I ran away from home in search of an education. I started working as a maid. I eventually ended up on the streets where I was rescued by a good Samaritan who took me to one of the Imani Milele Schools. I was welcomed and I now live in one of the Imani Milele homes. I am loved and cared for. I love school and my dream is to become a doctor. I work hard everyday to reach my dream.
