Her unemployed parents could hardly provide for them so they missed school most of the time. Her life changed in 2007 when Imani Milele took her in. She got access to most of the needs including the chance to attend school and also joined the Imani Milele choir. She was a part of the Imani Milele Choir 2013 tour in the US. Rebecca is now in the 9th grade and performs averagely in class. She is also good at singing, African dances and drama. She still needs support with her education so she can pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer.
