Robert is first born of three boys.  He has lived a very difficult life since his parents separated and his mother got another husband. She left Robert and his siblings with their father who is very irresponsible and couldn’t provide Robert and his siblings with their basic needs. Instead, he spent most of his time and the little money he earned on drinking alcohol. Later on, Robert’s father was accused of theft and was sent to prison where he’s been for the last three years. Robert and his two brothers were taken in by their paternal grandfather but he is also unemployed. He grows a few crops to feed the grandkids but he can hardly afford for them.  Robert is a hardworking boy who loves school and hopes to become a pilot so that he can help his family.
