Besides my siblings, I have 9 stepsisters and 4 stepbrothers. My parents separated and my father abandoned the family, leaving us in the care of our mother. My mother single-handedly struggled to provide for the family. She could hardly afford our vital needs like school tuition and food. My aunt chose to take me in.
