My name is Sharif Ssebuguzi and I was born in Malindi, a village in Buikwe District - Central Uganda. I have no sister or brother and I don't know my father. My mother abandoned me to my grandmother before I was one year old. I grew up lacking most of the basic needs including missing school due to lack of tuition and school supplies because my grandmother was too poor to provide them. I am so grateful to God for Imani Milele who enrolled me in their sponsorship program for me to have a good education, medical care and accommodation. I am also a part of the Imani Milele Choir where I sing and play African drums. I am looking forward to a bright future by working hard in school.  I thank all my sponsors for supporting me.
