Sharon is the fifth born in a family of five children; four girls and one boy. She lives with both of her parents. Her family lives in a house made of mud and bamboo which can easily be destroyed by bad weather such as heavy rains. They only grow a few crops on a small piece of property for food and rarely have enough left to provide any income. Sharon can hardly go to school because her parents’ income cannot pay for her tuition. Amazingly, Sharon hopes to be a nurse one day but that will only be possible if her education is supported.
