Stella comes from a family of 7 children, 6 girls and 1 boy. Stella enjoys reading a lot and loves to learn. Her parents, being unemployed, rely on the few crops that they grow on their small, rented piece of property, to feed their children. This, however, does not allow them to provide other needs like tuition, school supplies and paying rent for their two-roomed mud and bamboo house.
