Swaibu, the fourth born in his family has 2 sisters and 1 brother. The owner of the house in which they stay gave Swaibu’s mom the responsibility of watching over his rentals and in so doing, he excuses them from paying rent. Swaibu’s dad’s source of income is transporting people on a motorcycle. He doesn’t provide for his family because he has other women where he spends most of his money. Swaibu’s mom used to work in a local market but her business was closed. She now hawks bananas around the suburbs of Kampala. From that, she earns a little money to feed and clothe her children. Swaibu has just started school in 2018 but his mom lacks tuition and school supplies. He has been put on the Imani Milele child sponsorship program to help his mom with his education. Help to keep Swaibu in school by sponsoring him. Sponsorship will provide him with tuition and a meal at school.
