Sylvia is the third born in a family of 3 boys and 5 girls. She lives with her elder sister. The father is old and sickly. Sylvia’s mother died of cancer in January of 2017. Her late mother was very instrumental in providing Sylvia with some the basic needs more especially tuition and school supplies. The sister is a peasant with no sure source of income. Sylvia likes school and she performs well academically but misses school due to lack of tuition and school supplies.
