Teopista is the fourth born of 5 children in her family. She has 3 brothers and one sister.  She stays with both her parents who are poor and unemployed.  All they do for a living is work other people’s land. This earns them very little money insufficient to cater for all the children’s financial needs. Teopista’s parents find most difficulty in paying for the children’s tuition.
