Tony is the 2^nd born having 3 brothers and 4 sisters. His family lives a very poor life in a remote community of Lagut (which is about 9 miles from Gulu town) in the Northern part of Uganda. His parents are ordinary farmers who grow mainly beans, cassava and peas on which they feed their children. Both the parents and their children all sleep in a single roomed hut. The dad and the mom are both unemployed and can’t afford paying tuition for their children or provide the basic needs of their children. Despite the 2 miles that Tony walks to school and back home on bare feet, he really shows much interest in attending school. He has a hearing problem but his teachers always give him special attention. He needs prayers, encouragement and support for his education.
