Tracy stays with both her parents and her baby brother. Her mother is a house wife while the father makes bricks by hand out of mud and clay. Brick making is a very hard job that requires a lot of energy yet it pays extremely less for the job done. The mother grows some crops like cassava, sweet potatoes, corn and beans basically for food at home. The little that the father earns from brick making is not enough to meet the rest of the financial needs of the family like clothing, health care, Tracy’s school supplies and tuition.
