My name is Umar. I have one brother and one sister. My mother died in 2014 and my father left us to live with our grandmother. We live in a small village of Malindi in Central Uganda about 10 miles from the source of the River Nile. I used to miss school because my grandmother couldn't afford to pay for my tuition and school supplies. I attend school regularly now that I am sponsored through Imani Milele Children. I believe that I will have a bright future through education.
