I live with my siblings and parents in a small village in Kitongo, Central Uganda. My mother is diabetic and has hypertension. She can no longer be involved in any heavy work. My father works very hard in the garden to grow crops mainly for food at home. He struggles to provide for all our needs and my mother’s medication.
