I am the 1st born of 4 children in my family. My father has another wife and older children. He spends most of his time with them and rarely comes to visit us. My mother rents a single room in which we live. She also rents a small piece of land for crop growing. Her harvest is often affected by poor soil fertility, low availability, and poor quality of seeds and fertilizers. These make her harvest small, thus a small and irregular income. She struggles to provide for our needs.
