My parents are crop farmers that grow the staple crops of maize and beans for consumption and the surplus is sold in the market to meet other hosehold needs. When the yields are good I go to a local school and learn together with my friends. But often when the season yields are poor, my father has to bargain with the school administration to allow me to study as he gradually clears the tuition fees.
